Choose your meat or prawns, then your potatoes, pasta or noodles, a sauce or veg pack, dessert and either wine or chocolates.

Lamb and Potato Bake

(Serves 2)

Preheat oven to 200°C, gas mark 6. Roast ½ a pack Waitrose Ready Peeled Maris Piper Potatoes, cut into large dice, drizzled in olive oil for 25 minutes. Increase the heat to 220°C, gas mark 7, then add the lamb leg steaks, and roast for a further 15 minutes. Serve with Waitrose Ready Prepared Chef’s Selection cooked as pack instructions.

Pork with Kentish Cider and Mustard Sauce

(Serves 2)

Grill the pork shoulder steaks on medium for 25 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through. Serve with mash and the cider and mustard sauce, heated according to pack instructions.

Spaghetti Bolognese

(Serves 2)

Fry the minced beef in a large saucepan. When brown, stir in the tomato and basil sauce until cooked through. Serve with cooked spaghetti.

Steak, Mash and Peppercorn Sauce

(Serves 2)

Fry the essential Waitrose rump steaks, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side for rare, 4-5 minutes each side for medium and 5-6 minutes each side for well done. Serve with Waitrose mashed potato and Waitrose peppercorn sauce, cooked according to instructions.

Chicken and Broccoli Stir-fry

(Serves 2)

Fry the sachet from tenderstem broccoli stir fry pack, then add the thinly sliced essential Waitrose chicken breasts and fry until just cooked, before adding the remaining stir-fry and sweet chilli dressed noodles. Heat until cooked through.

Prawns and Spaghetti

(Serves 2)

Fry the pack of Indonesian raw, peeled king prawn tails until pink and cooked through. Stir in the cooked vegetables – garden peas and runner beans and cooked spaghetti, cooked according to pack instructions.

The prawns are sweet and succulent and sourced from selected farms in Indonesia.

Braised pork steaks with Spanish Oranges

Grate the zest of a couple of Spanish oranges, squeeze the juice from 1 and then segment the other. In an ovenproof dish, heat some oil and fry a sliced red onion and then add the Pork Prime Loin Steaks until brown. Stir in some honey, Light Soy Sauce and orange zest and juice. Bake, basting the pork during cooking until cooked through. Stir in orange segments and serve.
